Book Meme from Wellinghall

A. Author You’ve Read The Most Books From: It's probably Terrance Dicks.
B. Best Sequel Ever: The Lord of the Rings (I'm agreeing with wellinghall here.)
C. Currently Reading: God Emperor of Dune, Frank Herbert
D. Drink of Choice While Reading: Tap water
E. E-Reader or Physical Books: Physical books every time. I've never read an ebook.
F. Fictional Character You Would Have Dated In High School: I wouldn't have.
G. Glad You Gave This Book A Chance: The Warhound and the World's Pain, Michael Moorcock
H. Hidden Gem Book: Lives of the Monster Dogs, Kirsten Bakis
I. Important Moments of Your Reading Life: Getting 'Doctor Who and the Underworld' by Terrance Dicks out of the library when quite young. Before that, I never read fiction.
J. Just Finished: 'Kalin', E.C. Tubb (the fourth book in the Dumarest series)
K. Kinds of Books You Won’t Read: Romantic fiction, most lit rubbish.
L. Longest Book You’ve Read: That's tricky because it depends on how you count multi-volume series. Wellinghall counted The Lord of the Rings as a single book rather than three (or six), but I've certainly read longer series than that. So don't know. Peter F. Hamilton's 'Night's Dawn' trilogy felt amongst the longest though.
M. Major Book Hangover Because Of: I had to look this phrase up on Urban Dictionary. It's never happened to me.
N. Number of Bookcases You Own: I don't think we have any individual bookcases, but one of the downstairs rooms in our house is a library.
O. One Book That You Have Read Multiple Times: The Silmarillion, J.R.R. Tolkien
P. Preferred Place to Read: Bath or bed.
Q. Quote From A Book That Inspires You / Gives You Feels: Hurin and Morwen's reunion at the end of The Children of Hurin.
R. Reading Regret: There are so many books I'd like to read, I sometimes wish I was one of those people who skim reads and gets through books quickly. But I'm not. If I'm enjoying a book, I like to read it properly.
S. Series You Started and Need to Finish: Only one? Most of the books on my three (double-stacked) to-read shelves are sequels!
T. Three Of Your All-Time Favourite Books: I'm going to give series rather than individual volumes: A Song of Ice and Fire (George R.R. Martin), The Book of the First Law (Joe Abercrombie), The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, The Unbeliever (Stephen Donaldson)
U. Unapologetic Fanboy For: Joe Abercrombie
W. Worst Bookish Habit: Buying books that are the nth in a series that I've just started  just because I find them going cheaply in a secondhand bookshop.
V. Very Excited For This Release More Than Any Other: 'The Winds of Winter', George R.R. Martin
X. Marks The Spot (Start On Your Bookshelf And Count to the 27th Book): 'The Five Gold Bands', Jack Vance
Y. Your Latest Book Purchase: 'Half a King', Joe Abercrombie (A signed copy - I haven't bought a new book in ages!)
Z. ZZZ-Snatcher (last book that kept you up WAY late): Moneyball, Michael Lewis
