Quiz round 9: Famous (Fictional) Last Words

These last words were either said by entirely fictional characters, or were said by the fictional representation of real people. I'm looking for the name of the character.

  1. A horse! a horse! my kingdom for a horse!

  2. Rosebud…

  3. You already have, Luke. You were right. You were right about me. Tell your sister... you were right...

  4. Lily, take Harry and go! It's him! Go! Run! I'll hold him off-!

  5. I've...seen things...you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-Beams...glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those...moments will be lost...in time...like tears...in the rain. Time...to die.

  6. ... to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee!

  7. It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.

  8. Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.

  9. My mind is in darkness. / God, God, I'm sick. I've been used. / And you knew all the time. / God! I'll never ever know why you chose me for your crime... / For your foul, bloody crime! / You have murdered me! / Have murdered me! / Murdered me! / Murdered me! / Murdered me! / Murdered me! / Murdered me! / Murdered--!

  10. It's the end…but the moment has been prepared for.

Semi-appositely, my quiz-answering was interrupted at the end of this round in order to watch Doctor Who on iplayer :-) Anyway, I involved Skordh at this point, who added:
2. Citizen Kane
8. HAL (d'oh)
9. Judas (double d'oh)
but struggled with 10! (Though he did get it right in the end.)
He also suggested Khan for 6, but I'm not sure he says the whole quote?
And he was no more use than I on 5 ("um, is it some German name? Kurt or something?") I was reduced to googling "Rutger Hauer Blade Runner" (yes, I realise I could have just checked your answers!), from which I conclude that Rutger Hauer is the exception to my "can only remember characters' names, not actors'" claim from round 1!

You can tell skordh that I think he's the only person, either online or in Launceston, who got the Judas Iscariot answer.
